Great Time Saver !!!

A must for learning those tricky and hard to break down fast riffs. I use it for drums and piano and it works amazingly.

five star affair

as a pedal steel guitar player i have no idea how i lived with out this little gem !!! make easy work of a complicated intro or turn around i love the simple workings .came in contact with the program through a fellow player and friend GREAT STUFF GUYS THANKS

Great app

Did exactly what it said it would do.

Great work tool

As a music teacher, performer and arranger, this is a really easy-to-use tool that greatly improves my workflow. Thanks!

Finally someone listened! Fantastic, but still needs fixes!

Hey this app is fantastic. Everything is here that is needed to learn songs. Thank you for listening and finally coming up with something that we musicians need. Only thing with this version is that it sticks a lot. Stops responding sometimes. I hope the unpresponsiveness gets fixed in the next update.

Anytune

I have been using the Anytune app for a couple of weeks on my iMac and it is a perfect tool for helping a retired guy to get back into music. I played guitar most of my life and due to an accident, I no longer have dexterity in my left hand. This makes it hard to play although I tried switching hands and even bottle necked it a while. ( I sure am not Duane Allman nor a lefty) So here I am in my sixties with lots of time and I am studying the blues harmonica! With all the study tracks on MP3, I can slow down everything to a pace where I can master the techniques! This is accelerating my success daily. And the wins keep me motivated. I would recommend this app for everyone.

Awesome practice tool

This is what Ive been missing on OSX for years since using Pacemaker with Winamp ages ago, and its 100 times better.

Periodically crashes

Not too stable and locks up quite often.

The best tool for learning songs

Thanks big time for building this tool. Being able to import my songs, mark the blocks that are harder to understand the notes, and looping through it with very slow speed is an amazing experience. I bought for my mac and iphone. I use a lot both of them. What I also appreciate is that as soon as you paid for the tool, there is no in-app purchase, trying to take more money from you. Again, thanks for that.

Good bang for the buck

I used to use Amazing Slow Downer, and occasionally Capo, but sometimes I got some stuttering in ASD. But now I have switched to Anytune because the interface is uncluttered, there are absolutley no glitches in playback, and it sounds good even when slowed down. It has become my go to app for practicing over backing tracks. Glad to give them 5 stars.

problems with anytune

Dear developers not anytune! Please help! After installing OS X EL Capitan, the program is in process of playing music slows down, please help!Anytune updated after you install OS X EL Capitan

Great product but needs work on auto scroll for TAB / Lyrics

Cutting pasting TAB into the lyric’s view takes some playing with font size. You should be able to adjust the auto scroll speed.

amazing, update needs...

great program, update needs a notepad to write out charts for songs that that could then be exported as PDF files

Great App!!!!!

The iOS of this app is by far the best transcription tool out their!!!!!! In the Mac OS version they do not disappoint. I feel like I am using the iOS version. There is no learning curve. The app has no bugs. It is clean. I am having a blast using this on Mac OS and am no longer using any of the competition, of which I own all of them. Thank you for creating this app on Mac OS. Please pass the word around.

Killer App…lots of fun and easy to use!

This is one of my most favorite apps to use. Practically five days a week! Cool interface and awesome features. I have both the mobile and desktop version of this app. A must-have for any serious musician!

Not worth the price

If you have been in this world of transcription software for a while, it wont take you much longer to find other competitors offering you better value for the same price out there, like Transcribe! for Mac as to mention one of the most relevant ones. Firt at most important, the poor quality of audio when you slow down the track! Anytune software really struggles with lots of background noise and poor definition under 50% speeds. Also, it is remarkable the abscense of a reference keyboard with and a sound spectrum able to recognize Chords and Notes at an specific point. The interface does not have many operational buttons or the possibility to configure a Tool bar, forcing you to go and do everything through the top menus. If this is your first transcribing software, will it work and do what it says?: Yes If you are looking to get the most out of your money, is Anytune software worth? Definitely not, there are better options out there at the same price.

An absolute must have for slowing down blistering tunes

I’ve used several other slow down programs, and this is by far the best. I also have it on the iphone so I can use it anywhere when I’m on the go. I use it almost every day, mostly to learn how to play Django Reinhardt solos, and i no longer rely on lessons or transcriptions to pick up licks and learn complicated solos.

Excellent tool for learning songs from the music

Ive used several other tools that provide similar function for slowing down, looping, etc, etc. I think the interface provided by Anytune is the best Ive seen. I love the various waveform displays and how they can be used to locate places in the song, set marks, etc. The only area where I find it lacking is the ability to play along with guitar tabs. Yeah, I know, better to learn by ear, but Im almost 50 (yikes) and I just want to learn songs and play for fun. If Im going to play along with a tab, I like the ability of the Go PlayAlong tool to sync Guitar Pro tabs with backing tracks. So I use both tools -- Anytune when Im trying to learn the nuances of the song from the recording, and Go PlayAlong when Ive got the song down and want to play along using tab with a backing track.

Great Program

I use this to learn banjo and guitar songs (bluegrass and folk), and being old enough to remember slowing down records to 16 rpms, I find this a joy. I would like to learn more about the equalizaer settings so I could better isolate the banjo tracks. The ability to alter the pitch and, of course, the tempo, is special to me. It’s a wonderful way to work on speed on the banjo, much more fun than using a metronome. I am sure I am only scratching the surface on the capabilities of this app, but it sure works for me.

Tuning

Nice program, but lacks fine tuning capability. Capo and Amazing Slow Downer both can tune to 1 cent or .01 semitones. This is the standard among recording programs too. I’m no sure why, but Anytune can only tune increments of 10 cents or .1 semitone. It’s not possible to really tune many recordings two standard tuning.
